Yên Thành is a rural district (huyện) of Nghe An province, in the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2008 the district had a population of 275,165.[1] The district covers an area of 549 km². The district capital lies at Yen Thanh.[1]

Geography

Yen Thanh is a land midland half mountain , half plain. Northern border districts of Tan Ky , Quynh Luu , Dien Chau ; east Dien Chau District; southeast district bordering Nghi Loc , south district Luong , the west district of Tan Ky .
